Quantitative Developer

A UK based Hedge Fund in Dubai is looking for a Quantitative Developer, someone who could work independently alongside senior researchers and portfolio managers across multiple global markets.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Automating and streamlining large-scale data preparation and cleaning
• Building and supporting new quantitative trading frameworks
• Productionising strategies developed by quantitative researchers
• Expanding and upgrading the team’s research and trading platform
• Improving code quality and development practices across the research team

Experience:

• Strictly 2–6 years of relevant experience
• Exceptional Python programming skills—Python is non-negotiable
• Strong experience with NumPy, pandas, or similar Python libraries
• Experience handling large datasets and building research or trading tools
• The ability to take ownership and work independently with senior stakeholders
• Exposure to quantitative finance or machine learning would be advantageous
• Must have a Computer Science or related degree from a Tier 1 Engineering college
