Legal & Compliance Officer (Russia & CIS)

We are seeking a Legal & Compliance Officer to support our business operations across Russia and CIS markets, reporting directly to the Global Legal & Compliance Manager.
The successful candidate will possess extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with a strong understanding of Russian pharmaceutical regulations, pharmaceutical compliance requirements, and data privacy matters. This position requires close collaboration with international teams; therefore, excellent command of English is essential.

Key Responsibilities:
Supporting day-to-day legal and compliance activities across Russia & CIS markets;
Assisting in drafting, reviewing, and revising local and international agreements;
Handling and coordinating legal requests from internal stakeholders;
Supporting internal audit processes and follow-up actions;
Contributing to compliance processes, training initiatives, and documentation;
Conducting legal research and preparing reports;
Monitoring regulatory developments and informing relevant teams;
Supporting the identification, assessment, and reporting of legal and compliance risks;
Providing practical legal and compliance guidance to cross-functional teams;
Supporting data privacy and data protection initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience:
Strong knowledge of Russian pharmaceutical laws, regulations, and industry practices;
Extensive experience in pharmaceutical compliance, including interactions with healthcare professionals, sponsorships, transparency requirements, and applicable industry codes;
Solid understanding of data privacy and data protection requirements;
Experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of commercial and legal agreements;
Ability to identify legal and compliance risks and provide practical, business-oriented advice;
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills;
Professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
