Site Civil Engineer

Role Description The Site Civil Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Beirut. The individual in this position oversees civil works on construction sites, ensuring that designs are implemented accurately, safely, and in compliance with local codes and project specifications. Daily tasks include inspecting work progress, coordinating with contractors and subcontractors, reviewing drawings and technical documents, and addressing site-related engineering issues. The Site Civil Engineer also supports planning and scheduling, prepares site reports and documentation, and collaborates with project managers and designers to resolve technical challenges and maintain project timelines.
Qualifications
Strong skills in Civil Engineering and Civil Engineering Design, with the ability to interpret and apply engineering standards on site.
Experience working as Civil Engineers on construction or infrastructure projects, with practical knowledge of site supervision.
Competence in Planning and project coordination, including scheduling, resource allocation, and site logistics.
Knowledge of Stormwater Management principles and related infrastructure design and implementation.
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field.
Familiarity with local building codes, regulations, and safety standards in Beirut and the wider region.
Proficiency in engineering design and analysis software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or equivalent) and basic office productivity tools.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and site personnel.
Ability to work on-site full time, manage multiple tasks, and solve problems in a fast-paced construction environment.
