Overseas Sales Manager

About the Role
You will own overseas market development for NewTop's paper container forming equipment, leading the setup of local direct sales networks and serving end customers directly. This is a hands-on, high-autonomy role for someone who can combine technical fluency with commercial drive — and who is ready to live and work in the field.
Key Responsibilities
1. Market Development & Local Direct Sales Network
Drive market research, customer acquisition, and sales target achievement in your assigned region; develop and execute regional sales strategies.
Build the local direct sales network, optimize existing channel structures, and strengthen our direct service capability and brand influence with end customers.
Source potential customers via trade shows, B2B platforms, customs data, overseas visits, and industry networks; develop and maintain direct customer relationships.
2. Technical Solutions & Commercial Negotiation
Translate customer needs into integrated hardware & software solutions, combining paper container equipment processes with intelligent control systems; advise on equipment configuration.
Own the full foreign-trade cycle: inquiry response, technical clarification, quotation, contract negotiation, L/C review, order execution, and payment collection.
Negotiate pricing, payment terms, lead time, and after-sales service to close deals successfully.
3. Project Delivery & After-sales Coordination
Coordinate internally with R&D, production, and logistics to ensure on-time delivery and meet customer capacity requirements.
Oversee installation, commissioning, and training; coordinate remote or on-site technical support.
Resolve complaints promptly, lift satisfaction, and drive repeat and add-on purchases.
4. Market Insight & Strategic Feedback
Analyze market trends, competitors, customer needs, and certification requirements; turn insights into regional strategy and product-optimization input.
Track food-packaging regulations and industrial-software trends in target markets to keep sales compliant.
Qualifications
Basic Requirements
Bachelor's degree or above in Mechanical/Mechatronics, Packaging Engineering, Automation, International Trade, English, Marketing, or related fields.
Typically under 45; exceptions for exceptional candidates with paper-container industry experience (business-head approval).
Fluent English (CET-6 / TEM-8): draft proposals, contracts, and emails independently, and lead technical meetings in English. Foreign candidates: basic Chinese or willingness to learn fast.
Valid C1 (or higher) driver's license; foreign candidates: valid local license + IDP translation.
Willing to take long-term overseas assignments (typically 6–12 months with home leave) and frequent regional travel.
Professional Competencies
Industry Knowledge: core processes, technical parameters, international certifications (CE/FDA/SGS), and market-access requirements for paper cup/container equipment.
Foreign Trade Proficiency: Incoterms, L/C review, customs clearance, and risk control (credit insurance, advance-payment management).
Solution Selling: convert capacity needs into proposals; use PPT, CAD, or ROI models to show value.
Local Operation: proven ability to run business abroad, build networks, and organize local promotions.
Digital Tools: CRM, LinkedIn, customs-data platforms.
