Junior Cost & Project Manager

Our Building and Project Consulting department provides comprehensive technical advice tailored to clients in the areas of project management, cost management, Technical Due Diligence (TDD), development monitoring, Workplace consulting and green certifications in the commercial and residential real estate sectors. Our clients are landlords, owner occupiers and tenants of commercial real estate, banking institutions, investment funds and developers. Our typical construction projects range in total investment from CZK 2 to 100+ million. Our projects often begin with an initial feasibility study, finalization of client’s brief, selection of partners for the design phase, through supervision of all necessary levels of project documentation and permits, management of suppliers and internal or external consultants, ensuring the progress of all project phases and cost management all the way to the final handover of the completed assignment to the client. We are now looking for a new colleague to carry out assignments in the area of Cost Management . This Specialisation Entails Support the delivery of Building & Project Consultancy projects under the supervision of senior Project Managers and Cost Managers;
Assist in preparation of project plans, programmes, budgets and cost estimates;
Support cost management activities including cost planning, budgeting, cash flow forecasting and cost reporting;
Assist in monitoring and controlling project costs, identifying risks and cost variances;
Support preparation of tender documentation, tender analysis and commercial comparisons;
Assist with change control, variations and basic commercial assessments.
Contribute to preparation of project control documentation including cost reports, risk registers and regular client reporting;
Take on proactively smaller project under own responsibility under guidance of senior colleagues;
Support Health & Safety compliance on projects in line with applicable regulations.
Your Profile University degree in Civil Engineering;
the position is suitable for fresh university graduates with relevant working experience;
working experience in a similar position (budget planner, cost manager, project manager);
good user knowledge of working with a PC (MS Office, MS Excel),
analytical thinking, attention to detail;
very good communication skills, client orientation and teamworking skills;
Czech/Slovak native speaker;
good command of English language is an advantage.
