What’s the mission you’ll drive
Drive the accounting close, reconciliation governance, and financial control framework for the Atlas (GS Forward Flow / loan sale) portfolio, ensuring flawless month-end delivery by Working Day 3 (WD3), total portfolio separation, and audit-ready operations as Addi transitions toward a fully regulated banking environment.
 
What you will do
Ensure 100% SLA compliance for month-end close by Working Day 3 (WD3) through the execution and oversight of Atlas accounting deliverables (interest accrual true-ups, cancellations, repurchases, late fees, impairment/provisions, claims, and settlement tie-outs), resulting in reviewer-friendly financial reporting and zero delayed closes.

Achieve 0% undetected silent breaks and 100% audit readiness by establishing a robust internal control and documentation framework (data freshness, ownership tagging, retroactive event treatment, and repeatable workpapers), reducing counterparty and external audit sampling cycles by at least 25%.

Eliminate financial reporting discrepancies under the servicing agreement by defining, documenting, and enforcing single-source-of-truth methodologies for servicing fees, ongoing statements, and portfolio performance, ensuring full compliance with counterparty SLAs and zero contractual penalties.

Reduce manual reconciliation effort by 40% by driving a practical automation roadmap (automated matching, rollforwards, exception routing, and approvals) alongside Engineering, Data Platform, and FinSyst teams, balancing close velocity with traceability.

Accelerate cross-functional issue resolution to under 48 hours by implementing a daily/weekly exception review cadence and escalation framework across Capital Markets Ops, Data, and Engineering, eliminating recurring root-cause breaks affecting the general ledger.

What we’re looking for
Proven expertise in technical accounting and credit/structured finance (MUST HAVE)
Demonstrates deep understanding of IFRS (specifically IFRS 9 / IFRS 9 derecognition and loan sale mechanics) and translates policy into tight operational processes.
