Hiring: Motion-Graphics / Documentary Editor — Cold Contact

Project details:
Cold Contact is a new faceless documentary channel about UFO and
unexplained-aerial cases — sober "true crime of the sky." One
documented, unresolved case per film, opened like a classified
dossier and closed with "you decide."

Every episode is built from archival stills, licensed footage, maps
and motion graphics, graded to feel like a real declassified case
file. NO 2D animation. NO character animation. NO whiteboard.

But this isn't someone's side project. The channel is produced by
Tulipán Tündér, a Hungarian production house running since 2013:
• 14 productions, 1,000,000+ total audience
• Feature films + a TV series on national television (TV2)
• International exhibitions — Banksy, NASA "Gateway to Space", Avatar

You'd build a brand-new channel from episode with people who ship
real productions at scale — not a first-timer figuring it out.

THE ROLE

• Edit 4–6 long-form documentary episodes / month (10–12 min each)
• Cold, filmic colour grade across stills and archival footage —
one consistent LUT, grain, vignette
• Motion graphics in After Effects: redaction-bar reveals, CASE FILE
stamps, evidence tags, map/route draws, radar sweeps, timestamp and
coordinate overlays, the audio-waveform visual
• Source-cut and mix archival footage with stills for visual variety
• Sound design tight to the narration — drone beds, and silence used
deliberately

You are:
• A documentary / motion-graphics editor
(Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve + After Effects)
• Strong on cinematic pacing, colour grading and clean typography
• NOT a character animator, whiteboard/explainer animator, or a
fast-cut gaming / MrBeast-style retention editor

Bonus (not required): AI tools in your workflow — upscaling,
restoration, generative fill on archival stills, AI b-roll for
texture inserts. We move fast and we like editors who use AI to
ship faster without losing the handmade documentary feel.
