About the Role

We are looking for a Software Developer to join our team building enterprise-grade data protection solutions focused on backup, recovery, and management of unstructured data. You will contribute to developing scalable, reliable, and high-performance features that help organizations protect business-critical information across diverse storage environments.

As part of an engineering team, you will work across the full development lifecycle of Veeam's core data protection platform – Veeam Backup & Replication .

What You’ll Do

Design, implement, and maintain features for a large-scale backup and restore platform focused on unstructured data protection

Contribute to the development of reliable and high-performance backend services using C# and .NET

Collaborate closely with Product Management, QA, and other engineering teams to deliver customer value

Analyze requirements and translate them into maintainable and scalable software solutions

Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical issues.

Contribute to code reviews and knowledge sharing within the team

What You’ll Bring

2+ years of software development experience in commercial projects

Proficiency in C# and a deep understanding of the .NET platform, data structures, and algorithms

Proactive attitude and willingness to learn

Result-oriented mindset with a sense of ownership and responsibility

Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment

English proficiency sufficient for daily communication within an international team

Bonus Skills

Experience working with AI coding assistant tools

Experience with Network, Cloud, or Data Deduplication Storage systems
